The novel revolves around a young mother who returns home after prison to try to build a relationship with her daughter.
Hoover rose to fame with the release of her 2016 romance novel It Ends with Us, which was later turned into a feature film starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
Not much is known about the cast; however, Vanessa Caswill is attached to direct the feature film. Caswill’s most recent project was 2023’s Love at First Sight, which was distributed by streaming giant Netflix.
