Love journeying to the best viewpoints in the province? You don’t have to go far from Vancouver to experience this one. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is worth a visit any time of year, but its suspended Cliffwalk is especially magical this time of year.
Suspended 30 storeys above the Capilano River Canyon, the Cliffwalk is a series of narrow walkways, stairs, and platforms – including open grated walkways!
Here, those who brave the journey enjoy sweeping views of the canyon, forest, and beyond. Definitely worth adding to your summer bucket list!

With 16 anchor points set into the cliff via suspended cantilevers, the Cliffwalk extends 213 metres across the canyon, and it’s been named a Canadian Signature Experience! So if you’re seeking a little thrill and adrenaline right here in Metro Vancouver, you don’t have to leave the region to get your heart pumping.
And if small, suspended walkways make you nervous, rest assured that the Cliffwalk can support 45 tonnes – the weight of 35 adult orca whales!
Admission to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is priced at $71.95 per adult, with evening rates (5 pm to close) this summer available for $56.21 per person.
Note that tickets come with access to all the park’s attractions. The park is open from 8:30 am to 8 pm until September 2nd.
