Something big is coming and fans of the Calgary Flames will be blown away!
In partnership with Sportsnet, the Scotiabank Saddledome will be installing a “state-of-the-art” screen which will enhance the game-day experience – at least until the new event centre opens to the public!
According to the team’s official website, the new scoreboard will be 3.75 times larger than the one hockey enthusiasts rely on now.

Measuring 30′ wide by 18′ high, the updated feature will have four displays and an upper LED halo ring with a 40′ circumference that will showcase “experience elements.”

The Calgary Flames did not share an exact installation date, but they did say it would be in play for the 2024-2025 NHL season, so get ready.
Until then, consider checking out the new BMO Centre expansion, another new and exciting addition to the Stampede Grounds.

In addition, the building also features Canada’s largest indoor fireplace and 85 pieces of art including the ‘Spirit of Water,‘ which is 70 feet tall and “embodies the power and vitality of water.”
