It’s about time! Mississauga, get ready for this. Chick-fil-A is opening its newest location in the GTA next year and that means more spots for delicious fried chicken.

You heard it here first back in January 2022, when we shared that the chain would be opening a Mississauga location will at Square One. However, at the time there was not much else listed on the website regarding this opening.

Boards are up and signage plastered up on the walls with huge bold words, “Arriving Soon”. The future Chick-fil-A restaurant can be found in the food court on the side where food spots Amaya, Big Smoke Burger, and Chipotle are located.

Though there’s still no date to share, Chick-fil-A confirmed to Curiocity that they’ll be opening its new location this summer.

“It’s our pleasure to confirm plans to open our new location in Mississauga at Square One Summer 2023. We’re excited to be a part of the Mississauga community and we look forward to serving guests delicious food prepared with high-quality ingredients, served with our signature hospitality.”

In October, Chick-fil-A shared that they are ready to quickly grow their Canadian footprint by 2025. As part of its long-term investment in the country, Ontario is expected to see more locations pop up in the next few years.

We already know that a new location has opened in Vaughan and now in the Toronto Eaton Centre. But it looks like Barrie will be getting a storefront and Shops at Don Mills, too.

Eager fans in Ottawa will also get a taste of its own location in the near future. Other Canadian markets include Alberta as well so keep an eye out for that!

Once they open the 20 stores by 2025, Chick-fil-A plans to open seven to 10 restaurants every year after that.

But for now, we just have to wait for the Mississauga location to open! And we can’t wait.
