FINALLY! Mississauga, get ready for this. Chick-fil-A is officially opening its newest location in the GTA next week and that means more spots for delicious fried chicken.

Chick-fil-A Square One Shopping Centre will welcome guests to its newest spot on August 10th on level one, inside Food Central.

According to the chain, this will be Chick-fil-A’s 11th restaurant in Canada. It will employ about 90 to 95 full- and part-time Team Members and operate for dine-in and pick-up from 10 AM to 9 PM, Monday to Saturday.

You heard it here first back in January 2022, when we shared that the chain would be opening a Mississauga location will at Square One. However, at the time there was not much else listed on the website regarding this opening.

Boards are up and signage plastered up on the walls with huge bold words, “Arriving Soon”. The future Chick-fil-A restaurant can be found in the food court on the side where food spots Amaya, Big Smoke Burger, and Chipotle are located.

In October, Chick-fil-A shared that they are ready to quickly grow their Canadian footprint by 2025. As part of its long-term investment in the country, Ontario is expected to see more locations pop up in the next few years.

In the last few months, locations have opened in Barrie, Don Mills, Vaughan and the Toronto Eaton Centre.

Eager fans in Ottawa will also get a taste of its own location in the near future. Other Canadian markets include Alberta as well so keep an eye out for that!

Once they open the 20 stores by 2025, Chick-fil-A plans to open seven to 10 restaurants every year after that.
