Chick-fil-A is expanding into the GTA and a new store is opening in Vaughan this week! That’s right, after announcing an expansion across Canada last month, Chick-fil-A just confirmed the opening date for its newest restaurant in Ontario.

According to the team at Chick-fil-A, they are opening the new Vaughan location on November 17th. So soon!

The team emailed Curiocity on Monday to share that the new spot is located at Rutherford Rd & Hwy 400, at D-3255 Rutherford Rd. It will be locally owned and operated by Al Jones, and the new restaurant will employ approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members.

Of note, for the grand opening on Thursday, November 17, the restaurant will be open beginning at 10 am, resuming regular hours on Friday, November 18.

In October, Chick-fil-A shared that they are ready to quickly grow their Canadian footprint by 2025. As part of its long-term investment in the country, Ontario is expected to see more locations pop up in the next few years.

We already know that new locations will soon open in Vaughan and in the Toronto Eaton Centre. But it looks like Barrie will be getting a storefront, Mississauga’s Square One, and Shops at Don Mills, too. Eager fans in Ottawa will also get a taste of its own location in the near future.

To kick off the holiday season, the new Vaughan restaurant will be serving a fan-favourite, the Peppermint Chip Milkshake. “Hand-spun to order, the Peppermint Chip Milkshake is made with Chick-fil-A Icedream and chips of peppermint bark all topped off with whipped cream and a cherry,” they state.

Are you excited to check out the new spot?
