Chick-fil-A is expanding into the GTA! After opening its fourth location in the Toronto area, the popular American fried chicken chain has its eyes set on Vaughan and is currently in the process of opening its newest storefront.
In an email sent to Curiocity, Chick-fil-A confirmed that it will be opening its newest location Vaughan this fall season.
“It’s our pleasure to confirm plans to open our new location in Vaughan this Fall,” said a representative of the chain.
“We’re excited to be a part of the Vaughan community and we look forward to serving guests delicious food prepared with high-quality ingredients, served with our signature hospitality.”
There’s no set date as to when the people of Vaughan can sink their teeth into some juicy fried chicken, but we do have an address.
According to Chick-fil-A’s U.S website, a storefront is set to open at Rutherford Rd and Highway 400 – D-3255 Rutherford Rd.
The site states that the location has “planned maintenance” coming up however no further details have been released.
Back in 2021, a Notice of Decision was issued by the city of Vaughan in regard to a Chick-fil-A request to permit multiple parking spaces and an outdoor patio.
This isn’t the only location Chick-fil-A had in its crosshairs. At one point, the American chain had listed an opening at Mississauga’s Square One back in January. There’s no word as to whether or not that location will open.
