Toronto is Canada’s second most unaffordable city for renting, but it’s not entirely impossible to live here on a budget. There are still some cheaper apartment rentals in Toronto that don’t require living with roommates.
These are some of the cheapest apartments listed on Rentals.ca, as of April 5.

This bachelor unit is going for $1,395 Per Month Plus $150 Per Month for Fixed-Rate Utilities, and is in a profesionally managed boutique building with 32 suites. It is located minutes from the College streetcar, providing quick access to subway stations and downtown.
22 Oakmount Road– $1550

10 Huntley Street – $1650
If you’re looking for an apartment with some views, check out this building with an indoor heated pool, close to U of T and Ryerson. The renovated suites are spacious, and close to bike trails and Yorkville.
