Two Canadian cities are ranked among the world’s best places to travel in 2023

Canada’s thrilling cities have done it once again, this time making Forbes’ latest list of the world’s best places to travel.

The annual list features several cities from across the globe, east to west, from the most stunning capital cities to relaxing beach towns.

And in honour of Women’s History Month in March, they gathered women travel experts and influencers to help compile the list.

Featuring 23 cities in this year’s list, two of them are located right here in Canada.

According to the list, the best places in Canada are Victoria, British Columbia, and Edmonton, Alberta.

And if you’ve ever had the pleasure of exploring these cities, then you definitely know why they’ve made the list.

Just last year, Victoria was voted best small city in Canada according to Resonance Consultancy and Best Cities. They rank the best places to live, work, visit, and invest around the globe. Their small city ranking covers 25 municipalities with populations of less than 200,000

As for Edmonton, it was recently ranked one of the best in Canada for students. It came in sixth place per Insurance policy comparison platform HelloSafe’s 2023 list.

Though Canada is home to some of the most beautiful sceneries, small towns, and bustling cities, these two are definitely worth a trip.
