A new airline is set to fly out of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport this summer. Canada Jetlines just announced that it is planning a start date in summer of 2022.

The all-Canadian carrier was created to give passengers another choice to travel to destinations within the US, Caribbean, and Mexico.

According to the airline, it will also fly to domestic cities in Canada.

“This is an exciting day for Canada Jetlines as we name Toronto Pearson as our primary travel hub, in preparation for summer service,” said Eddy Doyle, CEO of Canada Jetlines.

“This partnership will allow us to better service both domestic and international travellers to and from Canada’s busiest airport. We are optimistic for the future of Canada Jetlines and aim to strengthen the aviation industry in Toronto and beyond, increasing job opportunities and economic growth in the region.”

The airline states that it strives “to make air travel the best it can be for the best value possible. We’re just honest about flying, because we value travel and exploration.”

At this time, no official destinations are listed on the website yet. And there is also no word about how much the flights will cost.
