This Boreal Forest retreat is home to the first ‘tree cocoon’ tent in Alberta

No matter the time of year, Canadians will explore the great outdoors – but there’s something extra special about doing so in the fall.

Luckily, for those who, instead, try to avoid leaving the house when it gets chilly – places like Glamp Good in Wetaskiwin Alberta exist.

Surrounded by trees and wildlife, this stunning retreat makes the ultimate romantic getaway, or casual weekend staycation – especially in the autumn!

Here, guests are encouraged to appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of nature – just without having to sacrifice warmth and comfort.

With three geodomes and a ‘cocoon’ tent (reportedly, the first of its kind in the province), this family-owned resort is described by the owners as a place where people can “come and reset.”

The best part? You can bring your pets with you when you visit – so check them out!

From decor, swings and gazebos, to hammocks and their suspended lodge, each shelter has something unique to it, and while they’re all great, we’d recommend that you really take the time to find the one that fits you and your personality.

Happy camping, happy campers!
