Canada Day at Spruce Meadows

Celebrate Canada’s birthday at Spruce Meadows with a full day of activities, live entertainment and more. Guests can enjoy a complimentary barbecue courtesy of ATCO, along with a variety of performance and family-friendly programming throughout the day. The celebration wraps up with a live outdoor concert featuring Canadian country artist Brett Kissel.

Canada Day at Heritage Park

Grab your whole family and head over to Heritage Park for a full day of live entertainment, cultural celebration, and hands-on fun. Throughout the event, you’ll find vintage displays, historical reenactors, a live parade, and plenty of other activities spread throughout the park to enjoy at your own pace.

Canada Day at The Kananaskis Lodge

For anyone looking to swap the city crowds for some mountain air this Canada Day, Kananaskis Mountain Lodge offers a more nature-focused way to celebrate. At the lodge, guests can take part in live Birds of Prey encounters, getting up close with majestic birds while learning more about wildlife conservation. The day also includes a barbecue and cake-cutting ceremony along with a lodge-wide scavenger hunt.

Canada Day Main Stage Show

Calgary’s Main Stage Canada celebration is a free, city-run event in Prince’s Island Park, and if you’re into live music, this is a great spot to be. An all-Canadian lineup is taking the stage throughout the afternoon, featuring artists like Walk Off the Earth, Micah Sage, and Jamie Fine.

City of Calgary Fireworks Show

While you won’t be able to view the fireworks on-site this year, the Max Bell Centre is a great spot to catch the show, as it offers a clear, open view of the city’s skyline.
