Calgary’s Noble Pie to finally return with its very first brick & mortar location

We just can’t get enough when it comes to pizza. From the toppings and sauce to the roofs that they’re made under, we genuinely believe that the more there are, the merrier. As some of you may recall, January was a bittersweet month, with one of the city’s best taking a hiatus to focus on ushering in a new era. Now, the time has come and Noble Pie, one of Calgary’s favourite spots has shared that in their absence, they’ve actually been gearing up to open their very first storefront!

For two long years, Noble Pie ran their extremely successful pizza service out of Eighty Eighty Brewing Company, a popular spot with branding brighter than our future.

The collaboration was practically unstoppable, with 88’s taproom offering beer and incredible pies from Thursday’s through until Sundays in-house. This partnership not only helped them earn a cult-like following but a spot on several lists of Calgary’s best as well.

For this reason, when they announced that they shutting things down, people were shocked.

“Before Noble Pie, I was just a guy with a dream of making his pizza for a living,” Said the owner in January. “I never imagined the response would be as overwhelming as it has been. Thank you, Calgary! Your support since the beginning has been amazing. Words cannot express our gratitude.”

Luckily, after taking some time away, they are officially back with a promise to open their new brick and mortar location this July in an alleyway on 10th Avenue between 6th and 7th Street in the SW.

Sure the location is a little bit unconventional, but we cannot wait and will be in line the moment that they announce their official opening date!

Designed by Fort Architecture, the folks who also brought to life places like Cannibale and Mister Chen’s we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us! Bring it on, pizza gods, we’re ready!
