Calgary’s cheesy 10-day BOGO Pizza festival is about to kick off around the city

No matter what the occasion may be, nothing can bring people together quite like a hot slice – and next week? Well, you better believe that it’ll be all about the community! Work up an appetite, folks, because YYC Pizza Week, Calgary’s crispy buy one give one event is back and it’s going to be cheesier than ever.

Starting Friday, September 17th, YYC Pizza Week and their many local and participating restaurants will go head to head in a battle of toppings, crust and creativity.

For 10 whole days, they’ll bid for your votes to win one of 3 categories: thick crust, thin crust, and ‘out of the box,’ all in hopes of feeding those in need through Mealshare, a buy one give one organization.

Honestly, it’s as easy as pie – so go and grab yourself one, vote for your favourite and drift off into a food coma peacefully knowing that for every pizza purchased a nutritious meal will be given to a family in need. A good deed has never tasted so good!

Get ready, Calgary, get set and check out their website here for future updates. Let’s make a difference!
