The event of the year is back and bigger than ever. YYC Hot Chocolate Fest has announced that they’ll be returning for 2022 with more than 55 participants, the most they’ve seen in YHF history and you won’t want to miss a single sip!
Though there’s still plenty of time for businesses to register, this winter’s one-of-a-kind event has already surpassed those in the past, giving us something major to look forward to even after the holidays are over.
For those who aren’t aware, YYC Hot Chocolate Fest is an annual city-wide event, where restaurants, cafes, bars and convenience stores compete for one of three titles as voted by the public.

In order to win in the Best Hot Chocolate Category, The Cup That Runneth Over or Best Spirited Hot Chocolate award, locations are tasked with making and marketing a uniquely cozy drink that will be sold throughout the month of February.
The best part? $1 to $3 from every cup of cocoa sold will go toward supporting Calgary Meals On Wheels, an organization that provides healthy meals to those in need. What’s not to love!
It all kicks off on February 1st, so you’ve got some time – but prepare yourselves, folks!
