Hey there, Calgary. Happy Friday Eve! Man, it’s going to be a chilly weekend. Luckily only, like, two of our recommendations require stripping down outside or jumping into ice water. Hehe, read on to see what that’s about.

Here are 8 things to do this weekend in Calgary!


Since breaking into the electronic scene in 2014, Champagne Drip has worked with a ton of genre heavyweights, including Billboard-making duo Disclosure. EDM musician Luzcid has worked with wavemakers like Bassnectar and has earned millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube. You can catch both of them in the very same place this weekend. You won’t want to miss it!

Calgary, get ready to squeal and “eek,” because the Pucks for Paws hockey game is back! This Friday, catch the Calgary Hitmen as they take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes for a charity faceoff in partnership with the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society and the Four Feet Companion Foundation.

Watch over 80 adrenaline junkies in crazy costumes dive into freezing water to raise funds and awareness for the SA Foundation’s work against human trafficking. For a chilly event, it’s sure to warm you heart.

This guy is as country authentic as they come. When Drew Gregory isn’t herding cattle on his farm right here in Alberta, he’s herding crowds into music venues across the country. He’ll be taking the stage at The King Edward Hotel on the 11th. Home is where the heart is!
