PARK to unveil new art installation this weekend on St. Patrick’s Island

With such a beautiful weekend ahead of us, it’s no wonder that PARK and project partner Brightside have chosen to launch yet another outdoor art installation. This Heritage Day, check out #StayBright, an interactive, distance-friendly display on The Rise in St. Patrick’s Island!

In collaboration with Calgary’s own artistic duo, Nasarimba, this colourful art piece will give park goers a safe and exciting space to read a book, have a picnic or just wind down.

“We are excited to produce #STAYBRIGHT, a large ephemeral public mural, and accompanying sculpture. It is important and significant that we are safely brought together through the celebration of art and life during these strange times,” says Mikhail Miller and Rachel Ziriada of Nasarimba.

The folks at PARK and their partner artists have been working incredibly hard in the last few weeks. This month, the company also launched #VibranceYYC, and #YYCBlockParty, both with a similar idea, but totally different visual concepts.

We’d definitely recommend checking it out, Calgary! Trust us, you’re going to want to be outside as much as possible anyway!
