For a while there it was looking like Bumbershoot was a true goner. Now it’s looking like Seattle might actually see the return of its long-standing music festival just in time for Seattle Center’s 50th anniversary. Here’s what we know so far about this year’s festival.

Bumbershoot 2023 is presented by new rising sun and third stone with sponsors like Amazon, The Stranger and KEXP. Like years past, it will take place at Seattle Center and has been recentered as “a celebration of our region’s dreamers, makers and performers.”

An official lineup has yet to be released but considering the long-awaited return it’s safe to assume the festival will go big.

Beyond music, attendees can see and experience an assortment of other attractions like AR, culinary arts, roller skating, a cat circus and even witches. Yes, the last two are listed as a part of this year’s event.

What’s more, the festival has a pretty sweet deal for those purchasing early bird tickets. Starting February 24th you can get a one-day ticket for $50 and a two-day ticket for $85. That being said, tickets will likely sell out so act fast.

We’ll update you with more information as it comes.
