We all love a good Costco trip, after all, there’s nothing better than getting your favorite groceries and more in bulk at a discounted price. But perhaps one of our favorite things about Costco is the food court and all those delicious samples. As you’ve probably noticed, samples haven’t been around due to COVID-19. But guess what folks, they’re coming back.
That’s right, Costco is bringing back its samples nationwide over the next few weeks. By the first week of June, shoppers can expect to see samples return at 170 out of 550 stores. And by the end of June, samples should be back at all stores depending on individual state guidelines. That means grocery shopping is about to get a whole lot more fun and tasty.

As is the case with most things these days, there will be more precautions taken with samples. They’ll be prepared behind plexiglass and in smaller batches to ensure safe distribution to members. And if samples aren’t really your speed, you’ll be happy to know that food courts will also be making a comeback with less seating capacity and more physical separation.
So be sure to keep your eyes peeled for samples next time you head to Costco and if you’d like to learn more you can click here. We’re very happy to see things slowly returning to “normal” because those little mundane things really mean more than any of us would like to admit. Have fun out there folks.
