This summer and every weekend that you manage to roll out of bed before the clock strikes 12, treat yourself to a bottomless mimosa, a hangover Caesar and a mouth full of hashbrowns at one of the many boozy brunch spots in Calgary – because you deserve it for doing the impossible!

Porch

From their ‘Porch Booze Bag’ to their mimosa flights, Porch has got some pretty tasty choices for those looking for liquid brunch – plus they’re conveniently located on 17th Avenue!

The Beltliner

The Beltliner is a boozy brunch legend. From traditional plates to hangover eats like their unreal stuffed french toast and of course, their liquid breakfasts like the pumpkin spice chai cocktail, we can almost guarantee that you won’t regret a morning spent out on their patio. Plus they’re dog-friendly!

CRAFT

Not only does CRAFT bring the party in the evenings, but they’ll also help wake you up in the morning! From frittatas and bennies to boozy pre-noon cocktails these folks have all of the Sunday essentials and the best part? Nearly every one of their locations has a killer patio!

Madison’s 1212

So you prefer to drink your brunch through a straw hey? Madison 1212 in Inglewood, not only has primo pre-lunch, post-breakfast food, and an adorable patio, but they also have the cheapest mimosas in the city. This summer, check out the tasty inner-city spot, breathe in some fresh air and sip from flutes of champagne and juice for only $1.50.

OEB

While it’s worth noting that their menu is extensive and delicious – it’s OEB’s drink menu that we’d like to focus on today. From beermosas to an entire mimosa flight, rummosas and various sangria flavours – it’s clear that these guys know how to throw a mid-morning party and we love that. The Ship and Anchor

But of course, the Ship and Anchor made the list! It seems that every time a bell rings, a baby cries or someone mentions alcohol, their name will appear… and so will the urge to head to 17th for a Radler, a bloody Mary or a ‘pink velvet.’

Queens Breakfast Cocktails

Alright, let us preface this one by saying that it is of the utmost importance you make a reservation ahead of time. These guys can get insanely busy, but – for good reason! A quick scroll through their Instagram account will basically tell you everything you need to know about Queens Breakfast and Cocktails. Believe us when we say that their food is really as good as it looks and their cocktails follow suit. Check it out!

Red’s Diner Ramsay 

With a selection of unreal eats and their iconic boozy shakes, Reds gets a 10/10 from us any day, anytime – however, there’s something really special about going there on a Sunday morning. This weekend hit their diner in Ramsay to enjoy your brunch on the patio!

Monki Bistro Inglewood

Monki Bistro has an extensive brunch menu that includes everything from bennies and wicked french toast, but our favourite items can be enjoyed through a straw. With a list that includes their showstopper mimosa, badass mimosa and their beermosa we can almost guarantee you’ll walk (or stumble) away happy.

Namo Cafe Bistro
