Here’s what the new restaurant in Toronto’s Union Station will look like

Toronto’s Union Station keeps on growing when it comes to culinary destinations. According to Liberty Group, they will be opening Blue Bovine Steak and Sushi House at the iconic station soon. But first we have a sneak peek as to what to expect.

Last year, Liberty Group shared with Curiocity the plan for the new restaurant, which they said “will riff on the classic steakhouse offerings as seen in their award-winning property, BlueBlood Steakhouse in Casa Loma, but with a twist – now offering the finest cuts of quality meat in addition to a stunning fresh daily seafood selection and premium grade sushi.”

Located at Bay and Front Streets, we can expect a “sexy and modern” design, with large windows, and a “fresh contemporary feel.”

“The buzzy restaurant will accommodate guests for dining and premium bar service, as well as offer private dining spaces for special events,” states the Liberty Entertainment Group, who designed the space along with Nadia Di Donato.

“Occupying the northeast corner of the building, Blue Bovine’s guests will delight in bustling city views day and night through expansive windows on Front and Bay Streets, while enjoying both lunch and dinner service, offered seven days a week.”

There is not much else known at this time regarding the exact opening date, but according to its website, we may see it open just before the year ends.

If Liberty Group sounds familiar, it is because they recently opened its newest dining establishment DaNico, and hold several fine dining restaurants under its belt such as Don Alfonso 1890, and Blueblood Steakhouse.

So we can’t wait to check out Blue Bovine Steak and Sushi House… just have to wait a bit longer.
