The Bite of Seattle is back with over 200 vendors, musical guests & here’s when

It’s been a good week for the return of classic Seattle businesses and events. First the Seattle Cinerama and now Bite of Seattle. The classic Seattle food festival returns this summer under new ownership and is just as big and great as you remember. Here’s what we know so far about this year’s festival.

Bite of Seattle has a new title owner – CHEQ. If you’re unfamiliar with CHEQ they are an app, where you can send and receive gifts at restaurants, stadiums, hotels, and more. So if you want to send your best friend a round at their birthday a few states away, CHEQ makes things like that possible.

Bite returns this year as a mobile-first experience, powered by CHEQ. Orders are placed on your phone using the CHEQ app, meaning you can skip lines and order remotely from anywhere in the festival. It also unfortunately means that the festival will be cashless so be sure to keep that in mind.

The festival promises more than 200 vendors this year as well as more than 50 musical guests including headliner Sir-Mix-A-Lot. Some of the featured vendors include Chang Thai, Big Island Poke, Sugar + Spoon and more to be announced. Guests will be able to discover and taste the best of what our city has to offer, with the festival running from July 21st-23rd at Seattle Center.

The festival has free entry but VIP Tickets are available for purchase for a price of $60-$75. VIP Tickets include entry to a designated VIP viewing area at the Mural and Fountain Stage, the ability to bring your own towels or *low-back* chairs, access VIP to VIP bathrooms and one ticket for the Beer & Cider Tasting Garden at the lower level of Fisher Pavilion (good for 5 tastes).
