8 of the best places in Toronto to grab a pizza slice

Hear me out: the ultimate summer day consists of grabbing a slice of pizza and heading to the park. This is a city experience you need to partake in at least once while the weather is still nice! We’ve put together the list for you, so all you gotta do is pick your spot. These are 8 of the best places in Toronto to grab a slice of pizza.

Pizzeria Badiali

Yes, there will be a lineup.

Pizzeria Badiali is worth the wait, a classic New York-style slice within walking distance from Trinity Bellwoods Park. We recommend the cacio e pepe for the vodka pie slice – perfection!

Where: 181 Dovercourt Rd

Superpoint

If I had to pick a favourite, this is it.

Superpoint is right in the heart of Ossington, a small spot serving up amazing pizza slices. Grab a salami and spicy honey slice and thank me later.

Where: 84 Ossington Ave

King Slice

There’s a reason King Slice has been in the biz for over 30 years.

This Queen West gem has homemade sauce and dough – you can’t go wrong with any slice from here and be warned, the portions are massive!

Where: 1130 Queen St W

Juniors

If you haven’t checked out Juniors in Roncy, this is your sign!

The pepperoni slice here is loaded up and is a strong contender for the best pepperoni slice in the city.

Juniors isn’t too far from High Park, so head over with your pizza and bask in its glory.

Where: 2243 Dundas St W

Fresca Pizza and Pasta

A giant (and I do mean giant) slice here is $5 cash or $5.50 by card and is known for being a long-standing staple when it comes to pizza slices in Toronto.

This family-run spot is a true gem, and if you’re heading here you have to get the Margherita slice – no questions asked.

Where: 302 College St

Cici’s

The west end knows what’s up when it comes to pizza slices!

Found in Parkdale, Cici’s slices are 10/10. Get the Cici’s Supreme slice if they have it.

Where: 1596 Queen St W

Ambassador Pizza

I’m from the Windsor area, so this spot is close to my heart!

Ambassador Pizza makes Windsor-style slices and if you don’t know what that is, you just have to experience it for yourself.

Grab the classic Ambassador slice and head to the nearest park to enjoy.

Where: 946 Bloor St W

Papa Ceo

Harbord Village’s Papa Ceo pizza slices are where it’s at.

The Sicilian slice is delicious but they also have some unique pies you can check out like the beloved clam chowder pizza!

Don’t knock it til you try it.

Where: 654 Spadina Ave

Which of these Toronto spots are you grabbing a pizza slice from first?
