If music is the key to your happiness, then these cities are basically paradise. A ranking of the best cities in the world for music lovers has named three Canadian cities among the greatest on the planet.
The ranking was published in January by luggage storage service Bounce. It analyzes cities around the world that are “notable for their music scene.”
The cities are ranked based on their music-related events and offerings, such as festivals, record shops, and music venues.
Bounce used platforms like Songkick, Stereoboard, and Vinyl World to collect the data and rank each city out of 10 based on all the categories combined.
Data from all 4 factors were combined to give a normalized rank for each city, and an overall ‘music lover score’ out of 10, to reveal the best city breaks for music lovers in 2023.
