Becel’s Kind Hearts Fund is raising up to $100K for local food banks

Looking for ways to support your neighbours and fellow Canadians? We’ve got just the thing. This year more than ever, coming together to support great causes is so important- and when it’s as easy as Becel’s Kind Hearts Fund… we can’t think of a reason not to. So, what’s it all about?

Becel’s Kind Hearts Fund is a campaign dedicated to fighting food insecurity in Canada. Since the start of the pandemic, food insecurity has increasingly become an issue for families, with current reports stating that 1 in 7 Canadians are struggling with it. Becel’s campaign is simple but makes a big impact!

With one week left of the campaign, you’re going to wanna act fast! From now until April 30th, every time you purchase a Becel product, $1 will go towards a local charity aimed at providing meals to Canadians in need, up to a total donation of $100,000. It’s that easy.

Here in Vancouver, a portion of the donation will help support Loaves & Fishes Community Food Bank!

Not sure if they’ve got a product for you? Trust us… they do. In addition to the classic spreads we all grew up with, Becel has a wide range of products that we use on the daily. We’re talking avocado and olive oils, plant-based bricks perfect for baking, and spreads ranging from avocado and olive oil based to vegan and even oat beverage based.

With just a few days left to support the Becel Kind Hearts Fund, now’s your chance to stock up on those fridge and pantry staples. Available wherever you shop, every time you grab a Becel product until April 30th, you’ll feel good knowing you’re helping someone right in your community!
