Summer calls for endless outdoor adventures and the return of our beloved street festivals. Toronto’s east end is getting a three-day street festival this July and it’s all happening at night. Live bands, food trucks, vendors and more! Here’s what to know about Beaches Jazz Festival StreetFest.
StreetFest kicks off on July 26th and it’ll take over a portion of Queen St East between Woodbine Ave and Beech Ave. Expect three nights of delicious eats paired with live entertainment

This street takeover is part of the Beaches International Jazz Festival, a month-long music celebration that is held each year in July right in the Beaches.
According to organizers, it is one of the largest free jazz festivals in Canada with almost a million attendees throughout the month.
StreetFest is just one out of five festivals taking place during the month-long celebration. The overall festival takes place at a number of venues, and stage concerts in several different parks of the area.
For drivers, it’s important to note that Waverley Rd, Lee Ave and Wineva Ave will remain open during the StreetFest hours for thoroughway traffic. “Please make sure your vehicles are not parked on Queen St East. Between 4:00 – 6:00 pm July 25 – 27, 2024. Vehicles parked on both the north and south sides of Queen Street East will be towed,” shared organizers.
Not only is summer a perfect time to explore your city but it’s also a chance to make friends and discover spots you may have never heard of before.
Everyone is welcome to attend and see what Toronto’s Beaches has to offer.
July is the month of street festivals and you don’t want to miss out on all the excitement.
