This downtown hotel has opened its patio & it’s a perfect stop before a Blue Jays game

If you are heading to a Blue Jays game this season, or are looking for a patio to check out soon downtown, Bar Le Germain has opened its outdoor space for the season.

Located in Maple Leaf Square, at the entrance of Hotel le Germain, Bar Le Germain is home of renowned chef Johnson Wu and his “Wusian Fusion” creations. And this summer’s menu at the patio is no exception.

Expect snacks like Spiced Popcorn Chicken, Grilled Lemongrass Chicken leg, and Kimchi Focaccia here. To go with the Asian-fusion summer menu, there are several cocktails to try on this patio, including a Pisco Paloma and a refreshing Whiskey Lemonade.

“Patio season is play time for me! It is when I get to experiment with a lot of different flavour combos like fish sauce in caramel, banana with ketchup, or parmesan in furikake,” said Wu in a press release. And every year, the chef adds something new and unexpected. This year, it’s beef tongue, which is also on the menu.

For those heading to a Blue Jays game, Bar Le Germain is less than a 10 minute walk to Rogers Centre.

Reservations are available online for this patio!
