When it comes to summer in Toronto, there just aren’t enough patios to visit. That’s why we love any new addition to patio spaces around the city, including this one! The creators of Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit! are bringing us a new patio only bar on King Street West, and here’s what to know.

Bar Coneja is officially open for business, and it is “a backyard barbecue concept that will whisk you away to 1970’s Southwest America.”

The Distrikt 461 restaurant has an outdoor woodfire grill and patio-only seating, and it will only be open for the summer.

Expect a retro summer escape with a full kitchen located outside on the patio at 461 King St. W (directly next to Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit!).

The menu includes Braised Short Rib Huarache, the Pollo Asado Quesadilla or classic Tater Tots with spicy ketchup. It also has tacos like the Pork Jowl Al Pastor, Mushroom Carnitas or Jamaican Patty tacos.

As for the bar, the cocktails at Bar Coneja include the Coneja Jungle Bird made with Havana 7 yr rum, Campari, apricot, pineapple, cinnamon and lime, to the Pink Flamingo made with Spring Mill vodka, watermelon, strawberry, lemon and black pepper. And just like next door, some cocktails are available in pitchers for those extra hot summer days in Toronto.

Bar Coneja takes reservations, and they can now be booked directly through Resy.
