Here’s how you can visit Ryan Reynolds’ gin distillery in Portland

Need an excuse for a road trip? If you’ve been meaning to make the trip down to Portland, now is the time because we have one more reason for you to go. What is that? Well you can now visit Ryan Reynolds’ gin distillery and see exactly how Aviation Gin is made.

In case you didn’t know Ryan Reynolds more than just an actor, he’s also the owner of Aviation American Gin. The brand describes itself as a “welcome departure from the traditional London Dry style” with “extreme mixability” appealing to a “much wider audience of food and cocktail enthusiasts.” What’s more it’s naturally gluten-free and of course distilled in small batches in Portland, Oregon.

So how can you visit it? The distillery will soon be offering tours which you can book in advance online. Your tour takes you through the fully operational distillery and ends with an escape through Ryan Reynolds’ office, as well as a guided gin tasting inside the Visitor Center.

During the tasting you’ll get to try one 1/2 oz pour of Aviation American Gin, one 1/2 oz pour of Aviation Old Tom Gin, and three 2 oz mini cocktails.

Keep in mind, reservations are required and tickets must be purchased for all attendees. That means individuals including not drinking as well as minors.
