This province has so many job openings & they’re looking for workers from Toronto right now

For some, Toronto is getting a bit stuffy and they may be looking for a change in scenery. Have you ever thought of moving to greener pastures? Well, this Canadian province is looking for skilled workers from Toronto to live and work there.

Alberta is Calling, the newest ad by the west coast province is calling workers from the big city to make the switch.

The campaign was initially launched in Toronto last month and according to its release, its goal is to attract “skilled, educated and ambitious talent to Alberta. Continuing the effort, the next phase of the campaign has been unveiled and shares why workers in the city should consider Alberta as its future home.

According to its release, Alberta is experiencing “unprecedented” growth within its economy and jobs in sectors like tech, finance, renewable energy, film, and more. It currently has a lot of job opportunities but not enough people to fill them. They have more than 100,000 open jobs as job vacancy rates are high.

“After several tough years, Alberta is back in a big way. One of the challenges we’re facing is not having enough people to fill all the jobs that are being created. Alberta is friendly, affordable and offers limitless opportunity, and we’re here to make our case to skilled professionals in the Greater Toronto Area,” said Alberta Premier Jason Kenney.

Not only are there jobs available but Alberta has some perks of its own that others may find intriguing.

This includes high average wages and the lowest taxes in all of Canada, owning a home for a fraction of what it costs in Toronto, shorter commute times, and access to some of nature’s most beautiful works of art for hiking, skiing, and more.

And not to mention more than 300 days of sunshine per year.

If you make the switch at Bloor-Yonge station when travelling, then you’ve definitely seen the ads flood the TTC station. It’s hard to miss.
