Amazon Canada is hiring for over 500 positions in Toronto right now

On the job hunt? Amazon Canada is expanding its rapidly growing Toronto (and Vancouver) office with 500+ new full-time positions. From Software Engineers to Business Operations roles, to everything in between, there are a ton of open roles to consider.

“Since the inception of Amazon’s tech hub in Toronto, our corporate office has grown exponentially to match Toronto’s enormous pool of tech talent,” says Amazon’s careers page.

The page goes on to highlight the many features of Toronto that make it so great, including its multiculturalism and the plethora of attractions and events all year round.

“There is never a dull moment in the city.” We couldn’t agree more!

Of the hundreds of open jobs at Amazon’s Toronto HQ, the bulk of them are in the Software Development Department.

But, if that’s not your skill set, there are also dozens in Sales, Advertising & Account Management, Project Management, and Operations, IT & Support Engineering, and even Human Resources.

You can also browse for jobs by team, which means you can work specifically for Amazo Alexa, Amazon Devices, Retail, Web Services, and many more.

In an open letter in October of 2021, CEO Andy Jassy expresses Amazon’s support of more flexible options when it comes to returning to the office, including fully-remote and hybrid options.

Which means that as an Amazon employee, you could continue to enjoy working from home and occasional in-office days too.

Toronto is among the leading tech cities in the world, with some of the world’s biggest companies setting up shop and recruiting hundreds of staff here.

Meta just recently unveiled its plans to build a tech hub of its own in Toronto, well as Twitter and Reddit.

Happy hunting and best of luck!
