Amazon needs no introduction, it’s a local tech giant that has certainly had its impact on Seattle and it was just ranked as one of the best employers in the world by Forbes. Let’s see why.
Forbes compiled the ranking in partnership with market research company Statista. To gather data, 150,000 full-time and part-time workers from multinational companies and institutions across 57 countries were surveyed.

These are the top 10 best employers in the world according to Forbes.

- Costco Wholesale

- Dell Technologies
Now if you look closely at this list you’ll actually see another local company, Costco. Yep, everyone’s favorite bulk retailer is also an employee fave.
Amazon ranked number 14 and with a whopping employee base of over 1.6 million. Forbes did not list why they came in 14th place but the overall survey asked whether employees would recommend their place of work to others. So with that in mind and all of the different job opportunities at Amazon, it seems like there are many satisfied employees.
