Beloved by many, Fish Creek is the ultimate in-city escape from the hustle and bustle of your day-to-day. From picnics and cookouts, hikes, bikes and walks with your furry friend, this natural beauty has and will always be extremely popular with residents and visitors alike. Now, just like with every other well-used area, every once in a while it could use a little TLC, which is exactly what the province is planning on doing in the coming years.
This week the government of Alberta actually shared their plans to improve Fish Creek’s pathway system and they actually want your help, Calgary!

The full document, which can be read in its entirety here, outlines everything from mitigating the environmental impact of the park to making pathways and trails easier and accessible for everyone – all of which sounds like it could be a pretty good idea.
