Air Canada is launching new direct flights from Toronto to Osaka

It’s about to get a whole lot easier for Canadians to visit Japan this summer. Air Canada is launching new seasonal, direct flights from Toronto to Osaka starting this June.

According to the Japan National Tourism Organization, flights between Pearson International Airport and Kansai International Airport will run three times a week from June 17th to October 25th, 2024.

“Paired with increased frequency on their popular Vancouver-Osaka flight, this will more than double Air Canada’s capacity to Osaka, compared to the previous summer,” shared JNTO.

This means that during the peak summer season this year, Air Canada will offer more than 12,000 seats a week between Canada and Japan.

This will be Air Canada’s second direct route to a Japanese city from Toronto.

“Thanks to their continual growth and development, Japan is now more accessible than ever for Canadian tourists, opening a direct gateway for visitors to experience the land of the rising sun for themselves,” said JNTO.

Toronto to Osaka flights are now available for booking online.
