If the end of summer and the start of fall is your favourite time of year, it’s a great time to plan a day or weekend trip to Agassiz, British Columbia. Situated near Harrison Hot Springs in the Harrison River Valley, the beautiful riverside town is filled with a quaint collection of cafes, galleries, boutiques, and museums, as well as a two-day fall fair and corn festival you won’t want to miss next month.
Taking place on September 13th and 14th this year, the beloved Agassiz Fall Fair and Corn Festival is a lively celebration of the autumn harvest with activities for the whole family to enjoy.
This includes everything from thrilling rides and tasty fall treats to a parade and antique tractor show – if previous years are any indication!
Sheltered by the Coast and Cascade mountain ranges and Fraser River, Agassiz is known for its rich farmland and agriculture-based activities, making this annual event a must-visit in the area.
