This Montreal-based pizza spot is opening its first Toronto restaurant

If you’ve had a taste of Neapolitan Pizzeria No.900 in Montreal, you no longer have to venture to Quebec to enjoy it. The beloved pizzeria is opening its first Ontario location in Toronto, set to start serving the city this Friday, August 23rd.

East enders, get excited! The first Neapolitan Pizzeria No.900 in Toronto will be located in The Beaches.

According to the pizzeria, “No.900’s new Toronto location will stay true to its beloved menu, which includes a selection of white and red pizza offerings and other favourites such as charcuterie, mozzarella, burrata, and fresh salads.”

“To pair with the Italian fare, No.900 carefully curates a variety of privately imported Italian wines from artisan winemakers who prioritize sustainable grape cultivation while respecting the environment,” No.900 continues.

If you’re wondering how the joint got its name, it’s a pretty cool back story!

No.900 took inspiration for its name from the AVPN rules of cooking a pizza at 900 degrees Fahrenheit for 90 seconds, “a playful nod to how a true Neapolitan pizza is prepared according to the rules of the art.”

The Toronto restaurant will bring the same taste and flair as its Quebec and France locations.

Toronto’s team will be trained by No.900’s Executive Chef Mirko D’Agata and R&D Chef Fiodar Huminski, who secured first and second-place honours at the 2023 International Pizza Challenge held in Atlantic City and won third place at the 2024 World Pizza Championship in Parma!

We’re always looking for the next best slice in Toronto so we will be counting the days until the August 23rd opening.

The Beaches is in for a treat!
