If you’re in Seattle you can’t beat the Queen Mary Tea Room. It’s an intimate tea room with eye-catching decor and a wide menu of teas to choose from as well as an all-day afternoon tea. Expect your favorite mini sandwiches, fruit, mini pastries, and more.

In years past, The Fairmont has been one of the premier destinations in Seattle for fancy-schmancy afternoon tea. And that remains the case. “Immerse yourself in the timeless Fairmont tradition of Seattle’s finest high tea,” states their website. “Relax in our beautifully redesigned lobby lounge, where you can savor steaming pots of loose-leaf tea alongside delightful sandwiches, scones, and delicate pastries thoughtfully crafted to celebrate the current season.”

Hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Fridays and from 11:00 am to 3:00 on the weekend.

If you’re looking for a little drive and an afternoon tea experience, the beautiful Cedar + Elm dining room is for you. There, you can eat your way through three tiers of decadent sweets and savory finger foods. Besides the tea, there is also live music for an unforgettable experience.

Another one that is a perfect short drive away is Paisley’s Tea Room in Issaquah. Make a reservation and enjoy a small pot of tea, a 3-tiered tower with an assortment of tea sandwiches, scones, and sweets along with fruit.
