For nearly 40 years, Randy’s Restaurant in Tukwila has been a staple of the Seattle-area diner scene. Now, along with many other iconic restaurants and small businesses in the area, it’s announced that it will have to close its doors.
The flight-themed diner sits close to the Museum of Flight and has thrilled and satisfied hungry aviation enthusiasts and food lovers alike for decades. The proximity to the Museum was a major source of business as Museum visitors and workers would venture to Randy’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Now, with the Museum having been closed during the pandemic and people going out to eat less and less, Randy’s Restaurant has to say goodbye.
It’s a harsh reality of the current times, but, at the very least, we’ll have the memories of places like Randy’s to keep us looking forward to better times ahead. Randy’s Restaurant will be open until November 15th, so be sure to head over for one last diner classic!
