The fact that Nemesis Coffee is opening an amazing new location in Vancouver has been known for over a year now, but, it looks like things are almost ready to go! The new spot, located near the Emily Carr Campus, will be undoubtedly the most interesting coffee shop in town. Here’s why.
First off, the building itself is stunning. The design comes from Perkins + Will Architects and has already won its own awards. Referred to as ‘The Red Pavilion’, the space is equal part artistic statement as it is an actual building. Luckily, that doesn’t affect its functionality.

Although, it has made setting up a coffee shop, especially one as ambitious as Nemesis, a little more time-consuming. But, that might also be due to the fact that Nemesis wants to put its own roasters in there, alongside the cafe and the bakery. One thing’s for sure- when it’s done, it’ll set a new standard for coffee shops in the city.
