From Halloween costumes to Merch, the popularity of Netflix’s new original show Squid Game has transcended screens all over the world, but if you think that the fandom would stop in the stores – you’d be mistaken! Now, from cafes to rec venues like Calgary’s Classified, those who fell head over triple-white vans for the show can even participate in games like the Dalgona cookie challenge and red light, green light … without consequences, of course.

From October 15th until the 31st, fans looking to try their hands (and feet) at the quick-steppin’ schoolyard game from the show can do so with a twist at the NE Laser Tag Centre in Calgary.

The rules are simple!

Players will have a total of 5 minutes to make it to an endpoint somewhere on the ‘battlefield.’ Those who manage to make it without moving on a red light in the time allotted will be awarded, while those who fail… will just have to go home knowing that they lost.

Each winning player will receive one FREE game that they can use at any point during the month – PLUS, anyone who wears green resembling the iconic tracksuit worn by contestants in the show will receive a free bottled drink.

Interested? Well, don’t hesitate! Space is limited and as we mentioned earlier, this game will only be offered on the weekends, so get on it – and good luck!

You’re going to need it!
