While there’s no shortage of amazing restaurants to dine at during a visit to Whistler, a new concept coming next spring could be worth the trip up there alone. The Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar recently announced its arrival to the iconic destination and should become one of the region’s crown jewels.
The new venture comes from heavyweights in both Vancouver and Whistler’s dining scenes. The Restaurant Director, Neil Henderson, brings over a decade of experience as director and sommelier of the acclaimed Araxi restaurant. Meanwhile, Chef Alex Chen, who is the person behind Boulevard in Vancouver, will be helping to create the menu. And finally, Jack Evrensel, who founded Toptable Group (which includes Araxi, Blue Water Cafe, and Elisa) has thrown his hat in the ring as well.
