A new restaurant is coming to town this summer and we’re super excited to give it a try. Miantiao is a new Chinese-Italian fusion restaurant that is slated to open very soon!
Miantiao gets its name from the Mandarin word for “noodle,” which is, of course, a big thing in both Chinese and Italian cuisine.
As part of the Kitchen Table Restaurants family, at the Miantiao helm is Culinary Director Alex Tung, Executive Chef Tret Jordan and Chef de Cuisine Justin Lee. All super experienced restauranteurs!

No food or drink menu has been released just yet, but we’re anxiously awaiting to see what interesting new concoctions created by combining Italian and Chinese. Kind of Hegelian when you think too much about it.
The restaurant will be opening in the Shangri-La Hotel downtown on West Georgia Street. And more info, like menus and how to make a reservation, will be coming out in the next few weeks.
