When it comes time to celebrate the holidays, your list of ‘to-do’s might be miles long. From must-watch movies to TV specials and popular plays like A Christmas Carol, everyone has that one thing that they have to watch at some point throughout the season. This year, though, what if we told you that you can totally surround yourself with it instead? From the producers behind Toronto’s Van Gogh Exhibit and the latest Immersive Klimt experience comes a new, more interactive way to experience a festive classic – Immersive Nutcracker, A Winter Miracle.

Written by Pyotr Tchaikovsky The Nutcracker has delighted, dazzled and enchanted families all over the world for over 130 years – but never like this.

Over a course of 30-minutes, this magical performance – which kicks off November 20th – will take its guests into the story of a girl, the mouse king and a heroic nutcracker using projections, special effects and more.

“This holiday season is going to be so important in Toronto,” adds producer Corey Ross in a press release. “Some families haven’t enjoyed the fullness of the holidays with each other in almost two years and we wanted to offer something really special for the season. The Nutcracker is the definitive magical holiday story and I think the experience of being fully immersed in that magic is going to be incredibly special.”

If this sounds like something you’d like to check out, tickets go on sale Saturday, October 23rd and cost $39 apiece.
