Forget Irish Cream, because the Canadian distillery Forty Creek is releasing a Nanaimo Bar Cream just in time for fall. And, we have a sneaking suspicion that it’s going to be a new favourite for some of the more, ahem, adventurous drinkers out there.

Based out of Ontario, Forty Creek specializes in whisky. But hey, if they feel like dipping their toes in an adult version of the Canadian treat then we say more power to them! Especially if they’re promising notes of wafer, coconut, chocolate ganache, rich custard, and nuts. Ah yes, only the finest.

The new Nanaimo Bar Cream liquor will be released at liquor stores around Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia at the end of September. Then, it’ll be rolled out across the rest of Canada later this fall. Either way, keep your eyes peeled for this new, weirdly Canadian option.

Enjoy the fall weather (and maybe a celebratory ‘adult’ coffee) folks!
