From art history to psychology, post-secondary students are overwhelmed with insightful options that’ll bring clarity to the people and things around them – unless, of course, they welcome chaos. This fall, Canadians can actually get lost in a Beautiful, Dark Twisted Fantasy by enrolling in the newest course to be offered by Concordia University in Montreal, Kanye vs. Ye: Genius by Design.’

The first of its kind in all of Canada, this unique class will delve into the journey, entrepreneurship, creative process, and mind of our generation’s most polarizing musician – Ye.

A misanthropist, this devoted artist has been celebrated and villainized, praised and avoided, criticized and forgiven more times than we can count – with his latest row with ex-wife Kim Kardashian making headlines all over the world; BUT that’s not what this class is about.

“This class isn’t only about Kanye. It’s about community, creativity, responsibility, accountability, fame and mental health, dreams and nightmares — and more importantly, self-actualization,” said professor and local rapper Yassin “Narcy” Alsalman.

“I want to bring something new and fresh to students. An opportunity to bring more amazing guests to the University and to discuss the world through the lens of one of the most influential artists of our generation.”

With space for only 200 students, those interested are encouraged to apply now – and to do so quickly, we have a sneaky suspicion that it’s going to fill up sooner rather than later.
