Once in a while, a pretty sweet (or salty) throwback deal returns on a Tuesday. And next week is one of those times, as KFC has announced the return of its famous Toonie Tuesday.

For those who may not remember, KFC’s Toonie Tuesday (which was lunch on Tuesdays for many high school students back in the day) is a meal that contains two pieces of fried chicken and fries for $2.

Yes, this was a thing, and it was weekly.

And to celebrate 2/22/22 next week on Tuesday, KFC is bringing back the old school fave.

“Don’t wait another 400 years for this deal,” states KFC. And we won’t.

Earlier this week, the company launched its new Kentucky Scorcher, which is so spicy that KFC Canada is offering free milk with every purchase of the sandwich, while supplies last.

Be sure to download the app, and you can check off those lunch (or dinner) plans for Tuesday.
