It’s no secret that Netflix has got a crazy lineup for movies this year, and one of the first big ones comes out soon! Ahead of its release in March, Netflix has released the first teaser for The Adam Project, which stars Ryan Reynolds and was actually shot in and around Vancouver!

According to a press release, The Adam Project focuses on a time traveller (Ryan Reynolds) as he teams up with his younger self , and his late father, to try and save the future. We’re always down for a little bit of sci-fi, and especially when the cast is as good as this one.

Reynolds will be joined by Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, and Zoe Saldana with a first-ever appearance from Walker Scobell. The movie was directed by Shawn Levy, who directed everything from Cheaper by the Dozen to another Reynolds project, Free Guy. In fact, he won an Academy Award as a producer for one of our favourite sci-fi movies ever- Arrival.

As for notable locations in the trailer, all we could spot was a street scene from what looks to be Gastown, and those classic Pacific Northwest forests we’ve all come to know and love. But, we’re thinking that’s just the tip of this time-travelling iceberg. We can’t wait for it to come out!
