LIGHT THE NIGHT AT CHINOOK BLAST

It’s time, Calgary! The wait is finally over. This weekend, check out the return of Chinook Blast, a celebration of light, fun, and colour! From local art, music, theatre and recreation to a number of incredible light displays that will be visible throughout the city’s core and you won’t want to miss it! Check it out.

SPASH AROUND AT THE HOTEL ARTS POOL PARTY SERIES

A pool party? In February? You bet your floaties, friends! Today, Friday, February 4th and every Friday for the rest of the month, check out Hotel Arts for a splashin’ pool party that will be accompanied by a live DJ, drinks and food. Enjoy!

HIT THE TOP DECK SKATING RINK

Lace-up and hit the ice. This weekend marks a first for Southcentre Mall and you won’t want to miss it! With 2 skating rinks open to the public, shoppers are encouraged to go for a glide in hopes of raising money for charity. For more information check out the link above.

Adrenaline junkies – this one is for you! This weekend, hit the slopes without your skis, at the Mt. Norquay Ski Resort in Banff. As announced on their Instagram, this season they’ve opened a bigger, better and newer tube trail, and you won’t want to risk hitting it too late. It’s going to be wild.

FALL DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE AT THE ALICE POPUP

We’ve had a topsy turvy year – escape it, by tumbling down the rabbit hole! This weekend Calgarians can finally check out the Alice in Wonderland Popup bar where colours are a little brighter, directions are up for interpretation and unbirthdays are as merry as can be. SIP COCOA AT YYC HOT CHOCOLATE FEST
