ScoreGolf has put out a list of Canada’s top 100 courses and 52 of them are Ontario golf courses! But are we surprised? Everyone knows Ontario’s got some of the best golf courses out there.
So Ontario’s presence is so strong on the list it almost feels like they’re just ranking Ontario spots. Just kidding, just kidding, some of the other provinces also made the cut. The highest-ranked Ontario spot is The National GC of Canada in Woodbridge, coming in hot at number 2.

We’ve also got some other well-known places, like St. George’s in Toronto, Hamilton G&CC in Ancaster, and the Devil’s Paintbrush in Caledon. All those courses nabbed spots in the top ten. But Ontario’s presence stays strong throughout the entire list, with a ton of courses taking ranks up until number 99 with Kawartha in Peterborough.
We’ve got a healthy mix of private and public courses on the list. So if you aren’t a member at any of the top-ranked spots, there’s no need to worry! Anyone of these courses are pretty dang awesome.
