You may or may not remember but earlier this year, the Fairmont Olympic Hotel’s bar got a massive facelift. And part of that fancy-schmancy series of renovations included a hidden speakeasy. If you’re looking for an unforgettable night of drinks, history, and design, a trip to the Founders Club may be in order.

Upon entering The Olympic Bar, you’ll be surrounded by almost a century of history. Expect to see beautiful heritage details as well as fresh modern accents for a completely unique space. To make things even more unique, the bookcase lining the wall is more than it seems, it’s the entrance to The Founders Club, a hidden speakeasy.

The intimate space seats only 30 people and is inspired by 1920’s speakeasy culture. The look is defined by deep, rich wood tones and the soft glow of polished brass. Expect something moody and warm with plenty of gravitas and mysterious energy. Not only is it a beautiful space, but it also features an exquisite spirit collection hand-selected by Fairmont Olympic’s award-winning Beverage Curator, Jesse Cyr.

On the menu, you’ll find innovative cocktails unique to the Founders Club like the Cafe Racer with Camus VSOP Cognac, Le Verger, Lemon, Yuzu and Grapefruit Bitters.

So what are you waiting for? Treat yourself to a night of original drinks in one of Seattle’s coolest hidden bars.
