We’re just a few days away from September 3rd, the highly-anticipated release date of Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy album, and in true Drizzy fashion, he got his city involved in the celebrations.

The rapper unveiled a series of black Nike t-shirts on his Instagram on Monday night featuring lyrics like “I don’t miss… let alone miss you,” and “Something has got to give other than me,” with the name of the album across the bottom. Drake revealed that some lucky fans in the city would get a free t-shirt on Monday night, which would be given out by his stylist Drew Ferguson, and OVO Mark, one of his closest friends.

OVO Mark posted a nearly hour-long live stream as he cruised around the city blasting the album and handing off t-shirts to passersby. At one point, he said he was on his way to Square One in Mississauga.

He also called up Drake, who was stuck in “bare traffic” at the time, and talked to a few fans who had just gotten their shirts. “We’ve gotta light up the city,” the rapper said.

Canadian rapper Preme posted a photo on his Instagram story of the crowd that showed up for last night’s t-shirt giveaway. “The city showed nothing but love,” he wrote.

Drake also claimed a few billboards in Toronto’s Dundas Square and above the Eaton Centre entrance on Monday to tease Certified Lover Boy. He announced the release date of the album with an image featuring a dozen pregnant emojis, which definitely had fans scratching their heads.

All of this comes right on the heels of Kanye’s new album, which dropped on Sunday. Kanye and Drake were publically feuding in the days prior, with Kanye releasing the address of Drake’s Toronto home on Instagram, only to get shut down and laughed off by Drizzy and his fans.
