Canada’s job market has seen better days, but there are still some stand-out employers who are checking off as many boxes as they can. Each year, Canada’s Top 100 Employers reveals the country’s best places to work, and looking ahead to 2026, seven in the Vancouver area made the cut.

The publication recognizes employers in both the private and public sectors, so long as their head offices or main places of business are in Canada. The list includes further details about each company, including its head office location, work sector, full-time employee count, and what makes it a top employer.

For example, BC Hydro created a Community Hero award to recognize employees who help during emergencies like car accidents and search and rescue operations. Vancouver Coastal Health has a recently renovated lounge area to help its employees unwind after work, and offers its employees a dedicated webinar series to help them build financial literacy.

SAP Canada‘s head office features an on-site fitness facility with free instructor-led yoga, weight training and circuit training classes, as well as a therapy wellness room for nutritionists, massage therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists.
